The White Mountains in Arizona includes the towns of Show Low, Pinetop, Snowflake, Alpine, Greer, and Eagar and all the surrounding smaller towns. We are based out of Eagar, AZ and there are so many adventures to be had. Below you will discover some of them. Included are links to some companies we recommend that offer these adventures.

If you are looking for an opportunity to go on a trailride through these beautiful mountains, then Sprucedale Guest Ranch is the place for you to go. They offer a two rides a day to non-guests at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. Lunch is offered for $12 before the afternoon ride.

There are a couple places to go kayaking. Greer Lakes is a beautiful place to go kayaking! You can rent kayaks from The Cabin Butler in Greer. (928) 735-9977
SKIING AND TUBING
From about November to March, we have snow in the White Mountains. We are home to Sunrise Park Resort where you can ski or snowboard daily throughout the season. They have lessons for first timers and you can rent everything you need from their rental center. They also offer cross country skiing as well. They also have a tubing hill with a pulley system and tubes for a fee.
There are also many fun free places to tube with your family. You can rent tubes from The Sweat Shop in Eagar, AZ if you do not have your own.
There are many great fishing lakes in the White Mountains. Some are catch and release while others have a daily catch limit. Fishing Licenses are required for all people 10 and older. These can be purchased at any Game and Fish office, Western Drug in Springerville, AZ, and the Big Lake General Store.
There are many levels and distances of beautiful hiking trails all over the White Mountains. You can get a hiking guide form the local Forest Ranger Station. We also have all these resources in the trailer.

In the summer, Sunrise Ski Park turns into an Adventure Park with lots of fun things for the family to do. There is a zipline, rock wall, trampoline bungee, and a slide. You can also ride the ski lift and look out at the beautiful scenery.
Enjoy mountain biking trails all around the mountain. You can rent a bike from Sunrise Park Resort.
We are home to two of the best hunting areas in this part of the country. Elk, deer, and turkey.
There ae many guides and outfitters in the area.
Casa Malpais is a premiere archaelolgical site featuring an astronoical calendar, a great kiva, ancient stairways, and rock art from the Mogollon culture. Tours available Tuesday-Saturday.
Visit White Mountain Dinosaur Exploration Center in Sptringerville, AZ, to learn about the local dinosaur population from their discoverers. Tours and Youth Programs available.
